Who we are
Sim Screener is provided by Kualia, Inc. and built by Igor Amidzic. These terms cover the Sim Screener Mac app and this website. By purchasing or using the app, you agree to these terms. Your license
A paid license gives you a non-exclusive right to use Sim Screener for personal or commercial work, subject to the activation limits shown with your purchase. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Keep your license key private. You may not sell, share, or distribute the key or redistribute the paid app as your own product.
The app requires an internet connection for activation and periodic license checks. After a successful check, it supports up to seven days of offline use. You can deactivate a Mac in Settings to move your license to another Mac.
Purchases and refunds
The current price is listed on our landing page. The final amount, currency, and any tax are shown at checkout. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record and handles payment, receipts, and refunds under its Buyer Terms.
For a purchase problem or refund request, email support@kualia.com with your order details, or contact Lemon Squeezy through your receipt. Refund requests are reviewed individually, subject to applicable consumer rights and Lemon Squeezy’s terms. A refunded purchase may have its license deactivated. Nothing here limits a refund or other remedy you are entitled to by law.
Your captures and device artwork
You keep your rights to the screenshots, recordings, and other content you process. Sim Screener does not claim ownership of your content. You are responsible for having the rights to use and share it, including any device artwork in your exports.
Device artwork, trademarks, and third-party components remain the property of their respective owners and are subject to their applicable terms. A Sim Screener license does not transfer ownership of that material. Sim Screener is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple.
Compatibility and updates
Check the setup guide for current system requirements, supported captures, and export formats. Transparent video needs a compatible player or editor. Changes to macOS, Xcode, or third-party apps can affect compatibility. We may release fixes and improvements, but do not promise a specific future feature or release date.
Responsible use
Use the app lawfully. Do not bypass license checks, misuse another person’s license, or interfere with our download or licensing services. We may deactivate licenses obtained fraudulently or used in material breach of these terms. If you think your license was deactivated by mistake, contact us so we can investigate.
Privacy
Capture processing happens on your Mac. Our Privacy Policy explains licensing requests, hosting, local storage, and information you send when contacting support.
Limitations and your rights
To the extent permitted by law, the app and website are provided as available, without a guarantee that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every workflow. Keep backups of important files. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory warranties, consumer protections, or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product changes and will show the revision date on this page. Material changes will be communicated through the app or website. Changes do not remove rights attached to an earlier purchase or protections required by law. For questions about the app or these terms, email support@kualia.com.
