LET’S MAKE SOMETHING LOOK GOOD.

A little setup.
A lot less busywork.

Sim Screener runs on macOS 14 or later, on both Apple silicon and Intel Macs.

1. Activate your copy

Download Sim Screener, open the installer, and drag the app into Applications. After purchasing, save the license key in your Lemon Squeezy receipt. Open the Mac app and go to Settings → About → Manage License to enter it.

Lemon Squeezy handles your payment, receipt, and license key. Keep your receipt email so you can find your key again. To move your license to another Mac, deactivate the current Mac in Manage License first.

2. Choose your capture folder

Point Sim Screener to the folder where Device Hub or your simulator saves screenshots and recordings. Choose an export destination, then finish setup. Listening starts automatically while the app is running.

3. Capture, then share

Take a screenshot. Sim Screener matches the device and orientation and places your framed capture in a floating corner preview. Hover to change the finish, copy, edit, or save it. You can also drag it directly into another app.

For saved MP4 recordings, choose your export format in the video prompt. Use MP4 for broad playback compatibility, or a transparent HEVC or ProRes MOV for a compatible editor.

Already have captures?

Use Open Captures in the Mac app, or drag existing PNGs and MP4s into Settings. Captures must match a bundled device’s native resolution. Your originals are preserved.

Keep Sim Screener up to date

Open Settings → About to check for updates and choose whether to check for and download updates automatically. Downloaded updates can install when you quit. If an export is in progress, an update restart waits for it to finish. Your saved folders, captures, settings, and license stay in place.

If you have an older copy without an update option, download the latest installer and replace the app in Applications once. Future updates are available from inside the app.
